In a small village in Guatemala, children, just before going to sleep, whisper their thoughts and worries to a tiny doll.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s as if they are asking it to hold everything that felt heavy during the day.

\u201cKeep these for me until tomorrow\u2026 because now I need to rest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

They don\u2019t solve their problems.
\nBut they don\u2019t carry them all night either.<\/p>\n

Why are there 6 dolls in each box?<\/h2>\n

This is not random.<\/p>\n

Children are not meant to hold endless worries.
\nSo they are given six dolls \u2014 and through this, they learn to:<\/p>\n
