Think about it:
\n<\/strong>Every child is naturally drawn to appearances: the funny one, the strong one, the popular one. But psychology shows us that what really matters isn\u2019t the image, it\u2019s how a child feels inside when they are with that friend.<\/p>\n

Teach them to set filters.<\/strong>
\nJust like a computer filters words, a child can ask themselves:
\n\u2013 \u201cDoes this friend help me grow or make me shrink?\u201d
\n\u2013 \u201cDoes this friend allow me to be myself, or do I have to hide parts of who I am to fit in?\u201d<\/p>\n
